Because of her sheltered lifestyle, Lilith is a very shy and self-conscious girl that doesn't say more than is entirely necessary, especially when it can be answered with a shrug or nod. She's aloof and seems a little rude from an objective standpoint, but it's largely because she's afraid of getting to know people and making friends, both because she's sure people won't like her once they get to know her, and because of how her parents have told her that other people are "bad". She has very little people skills, and sometimes will just walk away without saying anything if someone tries to talk to her. She's also very nervous and paranoid and will assume that anyone that appears friendly to her is SECRETLY A SUPER EVIL PERSON THAT REALLY WANTS TO MURDER HER AND STEAL ALL HER STUFF.

Her dancer job is something of a placebo. She sees it as a disguise, so when she's wearing her outfit she acts like a "different" person, or at least tries. But she honestly thinks it does give her more confidence because people won't recognize her for who she is and try to kidnap or murder her (because only she is the target of kidnappings and murders you know!!! She's kind of deluded). She's much more friendly and open about herself when she's dancing, and will actually smile. She pulls her hair back from her face rather than hiding behind it, and mistakenly believes that wearing her hair differently makes her look like an entirely different person (Hint: it doesn't.). While part of the way she acts while dancing is forced and superficial, a lot of it really isn't, and is how she would act if she were more relaxed and less insecure about herself.

Lilith is the only child of two very, very conservative, paranoid, and strict parents. They lived on a farm by themselves, half a days walking distance (though a forest) from the nearest town. Her father would often go into town to sell crops and buy various supplies that they needed, but Lilith herself was always forbidden to leave and the Forest just beyond the edge of their farm was the "boundary" of where she was allowed to go. Naturally, if you're forbidden to do something, you're curious about it. But Lilith was also told that the outside world was "dangerous" and the safest place possible was their farm.

Because of the nature of her parents, Lilith has had very, very limited interactions with other humans, though her curiosity to meet some has increased steadily as she's gotten older, and she would occasionally sneak out of her house to visit the nearby town while her parents were away. When she did so, she'd tie her hair back because she thought it would keep anyone from recognizing her. Her sneaky visits to the town halted abruptly when her father caught her in town and proceeded to FLIP OUT right there in public about how dangerous the world was, how hybrids were evil scum and one might kidnap her and try to make her their slave. Which definitely worked in making her terrified of them and kept her from trying to leave home for a while.

When the letter from Lucine's mayor arrived at their house, she hid it from her parents as she prepared to leave in secret. She figured this was her chance to see the outside world without her parents staring over her shoulder, and the things the mayor spoke of fascinated her. Lilith knew her parents would never allow it if she asked them to go, so she packed her things and left in the middle of the night, head already full of the exciting adventures she would have.

♦ She's a mediocre cook but prefers other people to make food for her, or to eat cold things.
♦ She really likes fruits and sandwiches. Combined is even better.
♦ She is jumpy and easily startled. Will sometimes reflexively kick or slap someone if they really startle her.
♦ She really likes silver jewelry like hairpins/clips and broaches. She hates anything made out of gold.
♦ Favourite colours are Purple, green and blue.
♦ Likes silky things and nice clothing, but she can't really afford it.
♦ Will tolerate the nickname "Lily", but prefers to just be called Lilith.
♦ Spends a ridiculous amount of time brushing her hair.
